You agree and acknowledge that:
(a)The hirer and/or authorized driver must be over 23 years of age and under 70 years of age.
(b) Only YOU or an Authorized Driver will drive the Vehicle; and
(c) You and any Authorized Driver hold a current license (not being a learner’s license or provisional license) to drive the Vehicle and have been licensed to drive vehicles of the same category as the Vehicle for at least 12 consecutive months. (d) International drivers license required or your national drivers license to be endorsed for an extra $10 USD. This can be processed in advance. After making a confirmed booking, please simply email a scanned copy of your National Driving License and we will process this for you.
All our vehicles are insured. Please Note: Rental car insurance will include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). Insurance cover does not include the personal consequences/damages occurred to the renter. Personal property of yours you have to have insured yourself! Personal Insurance, Medical Insurance or Travelers Insurance, or Any other kind of Insurance not included with the Vehicle Rental.
If the vehicle is involved in an accident, is damaged, breaks down or requires repair or salvage, regardless of cause, the hirer shall notify the owner of the full circumstances by telephone immediately.
The hirer shall not arrange or undertake any repairs or salvage without the owner’s authority(this includes, but is not limited to, purchasing a replacement tyre) except to the extent that repairs or salvage are necessary to prevent further damage to the vehicle or to other property.
24 Hour Roadside Assistance is free for all inherent mechanical faults (as determined by the owner or its authorized repairer) related to the vehicle specified in the Rental Document. For all other roadside assistance call outs including refueling, jump start, tyre related incidents, lost keys and keys locked in the vehicle, a service fee will be charged.
If the vehicle requires repair or replacement, the decision to supply another vehicle to the hirer is at the owner’s sole discretion.
The vehicles must be locked when unattended. The hirer is responsible for the security of the vehicle. It’s YOUR responsibility to make sure the car is parked safely in hotel car parks under watchmen during the night. Most places provide watchmen and car parks.
To ensure vehicle availability, it is recommended that you book and pay in advance for your vehicle, through our secure payment portal. Otherwise, the full price of your reservation is paid at the time you take the car. PICK UP / DROP OFF Airport / Sea Port / Stone Town area pick up and drop off free of charge. Delivery can be made to different resorts and hotels on the island, please ask for quotation.
US $20 per day (if required). Drivers allowance & fuel is not included in these rates. Drivers working hours are from 0.7.00 to 18.00 hrs. There is an overtime charge of US $5 per hour after 18.00hrs.
In the case of extra time the renter will have to pay 10 US$ per hour. The vehicle must be driven only by the renter or authorized driver. No other drivers are permitted. The vehicle must not be driven to the sea shore. The responsibility for security of the vehicle will be that of the renter for the period of the contract. If the renter breaks the contract He/She will be required to pay 50% of the agreed total cost. The company can break the contract at any time if it is proved that the renter is not keeping the vehicle in good condition, driving carelessly or has caused other intentional damage. The Passport or 150US$ (Refundable) or both will be taken by the company for all contract period as a security. Any damage caused by carelessness must be paid for by the renter. Fuel and driving permit are not included in the price.
